About the Artist: Marlee is a younger sister of Gideon Tjupurrula. She was married to Long Tom Tjapanangka. She began painting in 1993 and won the Alice Springs Art Prize in 1998.
She became severely disabled in the hand after an operation in 1994, she still paints albeit very slowly.
