About the Artist: Dr George was born in the Gibson Desert, to the south-west of Jupiter Well, he came out of the desert with his family in 1964.
He is a traditional healer and painter, associated with the Kintore and Tjukula medical clinics. Dr George is widowed and has a son Tjungurrayi and a daughter Nungurrayi.
He paints Tingari Cycle and Snake Dreaming. His traditional country includes Kaniwarra, west of Kintore, and Kilingya to the west of Jupiter Well.
