About the Artist: Willy was born at Patjantja, which is south west of Lake MacKay. He was born in the bush and moved with his family to Haasts Bluff in the late 50’s. They then moved to Papunya where he began to paint in 1976 for Papunya Tula Artists. He now lives at Kintore.
